After diagnosing the problem and ordering the part late on Wednesday night, the part was waiting for me Friday afternoon when I came home from work - awesome shipping times!
First remove the grate I did plenty of research, so I read that removing the fan shroud was the biggest pain, the only way I was able to removing was by forcing it out on an angle. With everything out of the way, this was the perfect time to vacuum all the junk down there. Replacing the old cracked pan (6 year old fridge - whoever came up with that formula of plastic should be fired) took about 2 minute. Putting the fan shroud in wasn't as painful as removing it. Screw the grate back in, and we're done!
