That said, it was a fight to get the new seal installed on the wash tub, and then another fight to get the spring clamp installed. You need 5 hands. I used a carpenter's quick-clamp, on a flat spot at the bottom of the wash tub concrete ballast, to hold the spring clamp open while I worked it around the seal.
