Looked online for posts of similar problem. First replaced the PCB. Fridge worked for a few days then dH error message. Found great help on appliancejunk.com. Had to literally take the whole inside freezer apart to get to the controller assembly. LG did not make this product repair friendly. It was difficult to remove the inside back panel which was held on by clips in the worst places. Tested the controller assembly with a ohm meter to confirm open circuit. Ordered part from Appliance Parts Pros and part came in really fast! Replacing the controller assembly itself was easy - plug it in and attach with zip-ties. Putting the freezer back together was an arduous process. In summary replacing the part was easy-getting to it & putting freezer back together wasn't.
