Both of the Lid Hinge Pins had broken off inside the Lid Hinges. Ordered new ones one morning; they arrived the next day. Pretty simple remove & replace operation. I used a nylon pry-bar (auto trim removal tool) to pop the top of the washing machine up for access to the screws holding the Lid Hinges in place. #2 Phillips screwdriver for the screws.
