Craig K Toledo , OH June 26, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Compact Automatic Washer LCR5232HQ2 Whirlpool Washer Lcr5232hq2: The lid switch broke. How to replace Lid Switch (Lid-Actuated Microswitch). Had to remove the lid from the washer, disconnect the wiring. Removed old switch and put in new. The total repair took about 20 minutes. Very easy.
