However, to change the lamp in the microwave I had to uninstall the oven /microwave, remove the metal shields and discharge the high voltage capacitor. The process took about 2 hours. I am an experienced electronics tech and have worked on this type of jobs many times . I recommend replacement of the microwave lamp should only be done by experienced persons. Portable microwaves are not this difficult to replace the lamp. The lamps that I received from Appliance Parts Pros work as advertised and both ovens now have light!
