Michael P Waxhaw , NC February 03, 2019 Appliance: General Electric Electric Range JT965SK4SS Microwave light bulb replacement Pulled the built-in unit to replace a lightbulb. Turns out the bulb is custom and the replacement bulb from Home Depot didn't fit, so I needed to order online. Pros.com and several other online retailers had the part including Amazon, however, Pros.com offered roughly the same price and quicker delivery. I ordered the bulb on a Tuesday evening, using regular delivery and had the part in-hand Thursday afternoon. I also received status updates via email confirmations. So, I would say that for my next appliance repair, AppliancePartsPros.com will be the first place I go and hopefully the quality service will continue. Edward W Peyton , CO January 02, 2019 Appliance: Model PT970SR2SS (GE PROFILE) Light was out in wall oven and microwave Changing the lamp in the wall oven was easy. However, to change the lamp in the microwave I had to uninstall the oven /microwave, remove the metal shields and discharge the high voltage capacitor. The process took about 2 hours. I am an experienced electronics tech and have worked on this type of jobs many times . I recommend replacement of the microwave lamp should only be done by experienced persons. Portable microwaves are not this difficult to replace the lamp. The lamps that I received from Appliance Parts Pros work as advertised and both ovens now have light! Read More...
