Janiene P Titusville , FL January 09, 2016 Appliance: Model KUDS301VWH Lights were flashing on the display panel and machine would not run Read quite a few blogs and reviewed a few videos. We tried all the controller resets but none worked. I knew it was a gamble on if it was just the keypad or the controller, or maybe something else like the pump, heating element or a simple fuse. Some could be fixed, some not worth it for a 6 year old machine. However, after reading many comments, I was still feeling like the keypad was the right place to start. We almost bought a new dishwasher but when I saw that this site would accept returns, even after installed, I knew it was the best way to go. I found the sight because they also had the best prices when I was shopping around. I had watched a You tube video where repairs were performed on a similar machine. It looked straight forward. I purchased a new keypad and handed it over to my Husband. He removed power to the machine via the circuit breaker, removed a few screws, popped out the door latch box and the controller that is mounted in the keypad (reminding me it is important to ground yourself before touching electronics when I reached for the ribbon), removed the old keypad, then added them all back to the new one. Put the screws back in and....it appears the problem is solved. This easily saved us about $750 dollars. It has only been a week, but its looking pretty good with no problems. The ability to return a part that may not fix the problem made all the difference in the world to me. I did not find that on any other website. Definitely the first place I will come to in the future! 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
