Changed the motor kit by the video guidelines. That was easy - video did not leave any details unexplained. But washer would still not start. Then heard a mild crackling sound around the door latching mechanism. Changed the door latching mechanism and by taking that appart, found that the plastic casings holding the electrical connectors to the latching mechanism were black/molten. So gave a call to AppliancePartsPros and was advised to cut connectors off and replace with part AP5642027. This fix worked out perfectly and the washer is working again.
