I had to use a Phillips 2 screwdriver and a small Torx driver to remove the control panel box and then the door switch frame. I changed out the primary & secondary switches. I had to learn how to get the old switches out by pressing a little plastic tab in the rear of each switch in the plastic frame. Primary can only go in the top and the secondary can only go in the middle, otherwise the wiring harness won’t fit.
I clicked the new switches into place, plugged them into the harness, screwed everything back together and tried the microwave with a cup of water and the unit ran properly!
When I took off the top grill above the door, one screw support post broke off. I glued it with Super/Krazy glue.
