Chris S Houston , TX April 29, 2014 Appliance: Model KENMORE 665 "lock on" light was blinking on dishwasher indicating a stuck button on the control panel I did some research online and figured out that I needed to replace the control module. I tried the other possible solutions first but they did not work. I ordered the part and it arrived in a few days. I had to remove the back panel on the door of the dishwasher with a screwdriver and Torx bit to access the module. Two screws held the module in place. There were numerous wires and plugs to change over. I did those one at a time to make sure I put them in the new module correctly. Once all the plugs were in place I screwed the new module in place. I had to also position a plastic cover over the module and a plastic cover on the back side of the soap reservoir. Neither had any fasteners holding them in place, just plastic fittings. I put the door panel back on with the Torx screws and tested it. Everything worked like new. 41 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
