First i had to remove the belt from the drum pulley. i had to actually remove the motor from the washing machine. carefully remove the two water hoses attached to the pump...have a towel ready...there will be a few cups of water left in the hoses. remove spring from tension pulley then remove the pump that was attached to the motor. you will need a set of hex keys to remove the pump. then you can remove the belt from the drive pulley. reinstalled new belt around drive pulley and reinstalled washer pump, reattach spring to tension pulley. installed the motor back into the machine, attached belt to the drum pulley before you tighten down the motor and reattached both water hoses.....your all done. very easy.
