I decided I could either buy new or rebuild my current Amana high capacity dryer. I took the machine apart and decided the motor, heating element and thermostats likely needed replaced. After doing the math, I felt it was worth the rebuild. Additionally, i chose to replace the belt, idler roller and drum support rollers.
