I took the machine apart and decided the motor, heating element and thermostats likely needed replaced. After doing the math, I felt it was worth the rebuild. Arthur M Minden , LA January 23, 2021 Maytag dryer would not turn itself off and then it would not start at all. I only found the thermal fuse was blown. Since the dryer was not turning off on its own, I went ahead and replaced the controller and the high temp switch. The dryer is working as it should now. Read More...
