Phil D San Antonio , TX February 07, 2017 Appliance: Model JSP28G0N2BG Lower baking (heating) element burned out in the oven First I watched a repair video on the internet to see if there were any "tricks" to removing a heating element. With that knowledge I turned off the power to the oven at the breaker box and then removed the heating element; being careful not to allow the two wire connections to go back into the wall of the oven by leaving locking pliers on both wires. (Anything with some weight could be used to keep the wires from pulling back as long as you do not allow power to go to the oven while wires are exposed.) I then found the part number on the heating element. I also found the model number for the oven. Then I went to the web site for AppliancePartsPros.com and cross referenced those numbers on their web site. The detailed information for the part and pictures gave me confidence that I found the correct replacement part. I ordered the replacement bake element part on a Friday afternoon. It shipped that day and arrived the very next day on Fed X even though I used the regular shipping option. The replacement part fit perfectly and was easy to install. Problem fixed and I saved lots of money by doing it myself. Thanks AppliancePartsPros.com! Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
