After growing frustrated with the local appliance repair company I decided to take it on myself. One of the pins on the plug on the wiring harness had corroded and broken off. It appeared that a couple of the other pins on the other plugs were not in very good condition either. I found the wiring harness on Appliance Parts Pro and ordered on a Sunday. The part shipped the next day and I received Tuesday, the following day. Installed the new harness and to my surprise, we were making ice by Tuesday night. It was a pretty big undertaking for a novice repairman but nonetheless, we are making ice.
