After reading some previous reviews and how-to videos on AppliancePartsPros.com, I realized I needed to replace the bearing slides (both sets) and the dryer drum front support bearing. I followed the instructions in the videos and had all the parts swapped out in less than 30 minutes. I found that the original bearing slides were completely worn through and were missing. After replacing them, the dryer works like it is new. I would highly recommend taking the time to clean out all the lint chambers thoroughly while you have your dryer opened up for any repairs. It is crucial for safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of the dryer in general.
