I noticed a smell in my dish washer and started looking into it. I figured out how to loosen the arm to take off the strainer thing to see if any food residue was on it, well I thought I put it back on correctly, but unfortunately did not. During the next wash the wash arm came off and melted on the heat coils. So I had been using the melted one for about a month and finally looked up to buy the replacement. I don't know what took me so long. This was cheap, fast, and easy. My new wash arm works great.
