Replaced door latch. I opened the door and lifted up on it to release the hinge. I then gently pried around the perimeter of the inside door panel to release it from the door itself just to the point where I could access the broken latch and replace it. I had to use a custom-bent paperclip as a tool to stretch and align the return spring to coax it back into the grooves.
