A wire with a sensor was hanging in the ice bin when we moved into the house. Purchased the clip and foam holder to put the sensor back into position. I was able to install them without removing the ice maker but admittedly you have to be a bit of a contortionist. I removed both trays and was able to through the door opening so I could see the mounting pins for the clip. Took a few attempts. Perfect ice as a result.
