Jg-Sell S Plymouth Meeting , PA May 29, 2017 Appliance: Model GE JVM1650WB008 Needed to vent microwave outside I bought a GE Microwave from someone to replace unit that had gone bad. Repair was easy; 1st I removed to screws at top and flipped motor assembly so blowers were facing up, then I slid hood damper assembly in at top, then reinstalled microwave and now when I press the vent button, the exhaust goes outside thru duct work.
