With the professional help with appliance parts staff helped me diagnose and repair.freezer would stop working with a number 1 on display and totally unresponsive and with no interior light. Unplugging for 30 minutes and plugging back it worked for awhile the staff said it was pointing to the control board which is in the front control panel.Replacing it was a 2 minute job I put some masking tape around unit to protect the finish of the door and took a putty knife working around unit until it snapped out snapped in new unit plugged in freezer and works like new now.
Make sure to unplug freezer before doing repair
