Replaced lower door interlock bracket, cam(which was redesigned), spring(I believe this was the problem) and switch. When the door opens the spring moves the cam which releases the switch"on" Button which turns on the interior light when you close the door, the latch which protrudes out from door pushes into the cam which rotates to turn off the light switch and enables operation of the microwave. Old design cam would push past the light switch and the weakened spring would not push it back towards the door to enable operation. In terms of fix.
Remove top plastic vent cover over the door(2 screws). Remove control panel with one screw on top, lift up and pull out and turn to the side at 90%.(you can have somebody hold or support and duct tape or unplug(delicate). Remove interlock piece with #10 star screwdriver, pull out and remove spring. If old style design cam. Replace the interlock piece, cam and spring. Otherwise replacing the spring should do the trick.(MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG MICROWAVE 1st).Put Back together and you should be good to .15 Minutes to do entire operation.
