I unscrewed the plat at the back inside the oven where the element was secured, pulled the element out about 3 inches, unscrewed the element from the wires, then I tested the element and the wires with a voltage and amperage meter, whereby I determined that the power to the element was fine but the element itself had a break and was not conducting current. Then I ordered the part, and installed it. Testing it now works fine.
