Deloris B Spokane , WA November 23, 2015 Appliance: Model AP2031021 MADE BY GE. MODEL NUMBER ON OVEN Broiler element burnt out on very old oven I cannot not sing the praises of this company & their helpful & fast service. I am going to post the online site address w/my praises on my facebook page for my friends that live on ranches many miles from appliance repair shops & towns. The Oven in our house is for sure over 20 yrs old it was in this home when we bought it, the home is 33 yrs old & the Oven is a Wall Oven, there is not room for a standard Oven in this Kitchen. The Oven itself still looks very nice. About 8 yrs ago or more we replaced the elements after calling around town to repair & parts places to ask about fixing the Oven; I was told; " the Oven was too old & there were no parts for it." I priced a new Wall Oven & was shocked it would cost close to $1,000 to purchase a new one. I went online to search for parts & found them & my husband replaced both the old elements with the new ones in less than 1/2 hr. Within is less than 2 wks ago, the top element burned out, I found Appliance Parts Pros online, finding the site fabulous for novice appliance persons to search & find what they need, PLUS the site has a chat online who was super helpful & told me she would check with the experts for sure on the parts I thought would work & get right back to me . I heard right back from Chat, ordered my parts & the parts arrived in less than one week. The cost was very reasonable & saving us over $1,000 I'm sure in the yr. 2015. The man of the house had the top element installed within no time & now our family will have a yummy Thanksgiving after all. Thank you all who made this possible & have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Jonathan C Moraga , CA November 16, 2014 Oven bake element failed I unscrewed the plat at the back inside the oven where the element was secured, pulled the element out about 3 inches, unscrewed the element from the wires, then I tested the element and the wires with a voltage and amperage meter, whereby I determined that the power to the element was fine but the element itself had a break and was not conducting current. Then I ordered the part, and installed it. Testing it now works fine. John H Minnetonka , MN December 09, 2015 We had a problem with our double wall oven where neither one would come up to temp well or hold a temp This is a really old GE unit and AppliancePartsPros was able to find the correct replacement elements for the two ovens. Installation was straight forward using a 1/4" socket driver. The whole process for removing the two old elements and replacing the two new elements was around 15 minutes. The parts were correct and now both ovens function as they should. Thanks, guys!
