Todd F Avon , MA July 26, 2019 Appliance: Frigidaire Range FEF355ESC Frigidaire Range Fef355esc: Oven gave E30 error code and would shut off. How to replace Oven Control Board. Tested sensor, the sensor was good, accurate, and no shorts to ground. Fyi these are usually pt100 or pt1000 RTDs. You can look up the resistance table and check the oven temp (after unplugging the sensor from the board). Relays worked because the oven would heat to the right temp, but shut off after some minutes. Weird issues and there isn't much else that could go wrong, so I ordered the board, followed the instructional video (unscrew top back panel, unplug board, unscrew board, then in reverse with the new board) and it worked great. All functions seemed to work so I ran it for 15 minutes with no more issues. I had to swap the plastic overlay too. I ripped it off gently as not to tear it. The adhesive worked good enough to get it held in place on the new board and the screws holding the board to keep things all well and good. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
