Charles M Port Charlotte , FL July 22, 2014 My oven was not heating up I had bought a new stove Samsung it was a little over a year old, after contacting Samsung they where no use and not going to help out on repairing the stove. I was looking online to see if i could find out what the problem was. I have had no experience in taking apart appliances, working or fixing them. I stumbled upon appliance parts pro one night and did a chat and they walked my through a series of steps of what to check with a multimeter took about 10 min only required a Philips screw driver and a multimeter. They contacted Samsung and found out what part was bad. Two days later i got an email saying the main control board was bad, i was hesitant about trying to change it but i ordered it it was like $70.00 got the part two days later and i swear it only took like 7 or 8 min to change and it only took a one screw driver. I would highly recommend any one to tackle a repair if you have hand tools and are not scared of trying new things. My stove works great and i will be contacting appliance parts pro next time i need a repair. 15 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
