My oven heating element seemed to explode shooting fire, busting in half, and exploding white magnesium powder all over the oven. You don’t usually see this happen before your eyes, a little scary! I thought it was done for! I ordered a new GE OEM element ( found many fakes ). Unscrewed the bracket in the back, made sure not to drop the wires, attached the new spade-type connectors. Easy repair! The part was delivered on time, and OEM just like they advertised. BTW do not believe the sites that say OEM, but come on a plain brown box, the real GE OEM comes in a box clearly marked GE.
