Ginny A White Oak , GA June 27, 2014 The bake element on our stove burned out My husband, who was the FIX-IT repair man at our house, passed away in March. When our bake element burned out my son, who is 18 looked at me and I looked at him and we shook our heads! We hunted on the oven till we found the serial number. We googled for GE OVEN repair parts and up popped AppliancePartsPros. We found the element, ordered it, watched the DETAILED VIDEO on how to change it out. The part came the next day. Philip had the old one out and the new one in in less than 10 minutes... and to be honest... the long part was going and getting the ratchet set!! The oven is back to baking! Thank you for your GREAT videos and your FAST service! Read More... 7 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Socket Set

Carol H Wilmington , NC January 27, 2018 Appliance: Model JPT13GV2BB Bottom element in oven no longer heating f2 temp sensor error message during self clean cycle. I ordered both the bake element and temperature sensor, which arrived quickly. I had changed a bake element before so attempted this one. However, on inspection, the connecting wire from the oven looked damaged at the terminal end. I found 2 new terminals at a local appliance parts store. (They were free.) Also, the temp sensor had to be straight-wired with the wire nuts included. Although not a difficult job, I didn't have the confidence to tackle re-attaching the terminal ends or straight-wiring the sensor myself. My handyman had everything fixed and working in less than 1 hour.
