The bottom burner would come on and the stove would acquire set temperature (350). The display continued to show set temperature while the actual temperature dropped to mid 200s before the burner came on again.
With help from AP Pros, ordered a temperature probe and a burner ignitor. I suspect the temperature probe but decided to replace both due to the 10 year old stove. Problem solved.
PS _ parts arrived 2 days ahead of expected delivery!
