Replace the overlay. This was about a 45 minute job. The hardest part of the job was removing the adhesive to allow me to install the new one. One story I read said 20 min to perform this and I would say if you do them all of the time probably. They also mentioned using alcohol to break down the adhesive, which worked well but made a mess. I would wear some surgical type of rubber gloves and use alcohol or maybe goo gone next time. I did not replace the control board on my fix, which previous people have done and it now works again. Great part and great shipping. I ordered on a Saturday and had it Tuesday afternoon. Great service!!!!
