How to replace Control Panel (Wht). To diagnose the problem, I reset the power. This would allow several wash cycles. However, randomly, different lights would flash and no cycles worked. I bought this panel and replaced it. Very simple. Remove 6 screws (T-15 torx). I carefully removed the control board and unhooked the flex circuit connector from the defective panel. I replaced it with the new panel flex circuit connector and snapped the board back into position. I found that the latch handle was also broken when I removed the panel. I repaired this.(a separate removal and replacement process) To determine if the latch handle is broken before you disassemble it, do the following. (So you can purchase a new latch as necessary) Use your fingers to actuate the handle. If it feels loose on one side, it is broken. An unbroken latch handle will not be floppy on one side. When in doubt, remove the panel and visually check. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
