First of all, I cannot believe that Samsung would actually think that putting the drain pump on the drum was a GOOD idea. The fix was easy, When I bought the washer off an individual, She told me that she was informed the drain pump needed replaced. So I did that. After looking up the parts, I decided that I did not need to spend over $100 for the kit and purchased the necessary parts from APP for $60. So much easier to relocate the pump. Now you cannot even hear the washer run.
