I typed the problem into the internet and the Appliance parts pros came up, after entering the model number and make of the refridgerator with the assistance of on line chat the problem was diagnosed. The part suggested was a new control panel and wiring harness. The order was recieved in less than 2 days from when I ordered it. Following the included instructions I removed the old part and sure enough the connection on the back were black. Following the instructions I put in the new harness, plugged in the power cord and it worked. The procedure took about an hour. Thank you to the online operator and the technician advising her.
