How to replace Ice Dispenser Lever. I removed the controller cover on the front of the freezer door and found that the dispenser lever, when tripped was not making the switch which causes the auger motor to operate. I found that one side of the dispenser lever had a broken pivot pin resulting in the lever not remaining in proper alignment thus not making/activating switch.
