I changed out the defroster unit and it worked fine. Later I thought I might also need a defroster thermostat and possibly temps sensors. Thus, I bought them "just in case". I have not installed them as the defroster unit seemed to have solved the problem. ApplicancePartsPros.com is an excellent source of parts and advice. I am glad I found this website.
