1st I called home warranty who sent out a tech that ordered parts without
checking anything that home warranty declined. Checked the unit myself and repaired it quickly. The Ice maker was fine, just needed to thaw the rear of the unit, around the solenoid. The interface worked after unplugging unit and then plugging it back in again. Not many real techs out there anymore.
