Appliance Parts Pros had the best information on troubleshooting the repair. There are great videos and information on troubleshooting the water valve and the automatic ice maker unit too, including a video showing the replacement of the part. I was able to isolate the problem to the ice maker and determine the valve was good. I went to the website and called the 24/7 customer service line to verify the ice maker was the correct one for my model fridge and received the part in 3 days. The replacement went perfectly, thanks to the great info from Appliance Parts Pros. The part price with shipping, was great and all together with my time troubleshooting and replacing the unit, the repair was so dramatically far less than the quotes I received for outside service.
