After some research determined it was the PTC relay, probably. After removing it from the compressor there was no doubt it was bad, kind of fell apart. Ordered up the new one Friday night, shipped Monday and arrived Tuesday. This is an old fridge in the basement and I wasn't going to put a lot of money into but I can't replace it for $30.00! Runs good now.
