Checked relay. Rattled when I shook it and small metal pieces fell out, so I knew it was bad.
Ordered new part and it arrived two days later.
It took about 15 minutes to replace the part and the refrigerator was back in business.
After about 12 hours the freezer was maintaining 0 degrees.
Now it working like a champ.
Spending $60 and less than and hours time sure beats spending the $1,200 I was looking at for a new refrigerator.
