Checked online videos to diagnose that the compressor inverter was not functioning on my GE PFE29PSDASS refrigerator. Removed the inverter mounted on the compressor after watching online videos. Had to remove the two retaining clips from the compressor mounting block to facilitate extraction of inverter board assembly because the copper tubes next to compressor make it a very difficult process. The compressor turned on with the new inverter, but the condenser fan did not turn on. Ordered and replaced the condenser fan assembly. The new condenser fan worked right away. Replacement was very easy. There are youtube videos showing the installation process. Ran diagnostics to determine that the Fresh Food (FF) fan was also defective. Replaced with a new fan. The refrigerator is working well. I am periodically checking the actual temperature versus set temperature to make sure there are no problems.
