Removed and replaced heat element. This was difficult due to very short power wires and very tight screws attaching wires to the element connectors. Did most of this by working with a small mirror and various hand tools. Eventually had to cut the connector at the junction of power wire and heat element.
Oven fan was made quiet via cleaning and bending the vanes of the fan.
Door latch was adjusted via removing and crushing the part that holds the pin with ball on oven. It was too loose so making this "gripper" smaller helped greatly. Door is now tight when closed.
Replaced over light bulb. Replaced oven light switch in oven control panel.
Thoroughly cleaned over and racks. Entire oven looks like new now and works great. Rather than spending $1,000 to replace this oven, I spent about $65 and a few hours of my puttering time. :-)
