I got a refrigerator from a client that had passed away. It was better than the one I had, so I cleaned it up. We couldn't use the ice maker/dispenser because the auger had been sitting in water. It was a bit of a challenge to take the ice bin/dispenser apart, and even more so to put it back together. You have to make sure the blades all go back onto the auger spindle in the right order (so take pictures!) And the lever to disengage the blades is tricky to put back just right. Just takes patience. But that one piece gave us back 30% of the room in the freezer since we eliminated the ice trays and bin that we were using. Works great.
