After reading numerous complaints similar to mine with my Samsung DW80F600utc dishwasher, I was about to trash it but decided to take a chance on replacing the mother board at $119.50 because it matched all of my other Samsung kitchen appliances. The part came quickly and the replacement was a relatively easy half hour job which rectified the problem. The motherboard is accessible at the front below the door so the job did not require pulling the machine out from under the counter. The job consisted of shutting off power to the machine, removing two screws to separate the motherboard and its case from the machine, then carefully releasing seven (all different socket sizes except for two) computer type plugs with needle nosed pliers, then rep lugging them into new motherboard and reattaching the motherboard case with two screws and turning power back on. I'm now keeping fingers crossed that the problem does not return as has been the case with a few others I have read about. If the problem reoccurs, I'm going to a Bosch dishwasher next time. Samsung apparently has a general problem with this model.
