Samsung Dishwasher Parts

I found a youtube video about replacing the hot water valve in a Samsung washer. It looked pretty easy. I had been very satisfied with an earlier order from AppliancePartsPros.com, so I ordered this part on Sunday after 9PM, standard delivery, hoping to get the part by the end of the week. Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. After viewing Appliance Parts Pros YouTube Videos, I removed the Main Manifold (snaps right off) including the Top Spray Arm. I discovered the Flappers of the Docking Station (AP6009888) were worn out and/or missing. I removed the Docking Station simply by popping the old one off... Read more

Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. I removed and cleaned the brake assembly ( large transparent plastic section on left side of the dishwasher). I cleaned this for preventive maintenance by taking the float... Read more

Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Insert new hoses and route them correctly and hook everything back up. Couple of notes, I didn't have to take off the outer cabinet to do this repair. Normally when you let go of the dishwasher door partly open it would stay in that position. But lately when you let go of the door it would fall to the fully open position. Turns out this little cable was broken one one side. Just puss the dishwasher slightly out of the cabinet and you can replace the cable in minutes. It is just held in place with a spring. Read more

Initially we discovered the LE code was due to water in the base due to the over flow. Of course my warranty was up and 1 month later the DW finally stopped with this error. We pulled out the DW and soaked up the water in the sensor on the right side base where it collects water. This got rid of the LE error code. The LE error kept making the drain go constantly so we had to turn off the power in order to stop the draining. The drain activity would go constantly even after opening the door... Read more

I replaced the water level sensor on the side of the dishwasher. Had to completely take out dishwasher and set on its side. Removed three hose clamps and three electrical disconnects. I have hard water and it looked like the float inside of the sensor wasn't moving properly. Read more

The Dishwasher Rack Roller was a perfect fit. It took longer to find the part (because I kept typing in wheel) than it took to fix the issue. The old part snapped off and the new part clipped right on. I bought all four rollers even though I only needed one because I'm sure the next one will crack soon. Thanks for the great service. Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade.
