Researched on the Internet and found that the most likely cause was the control panel failing. A number of people were able to fix the issue by cleaning the ribbon cable. I tried this and the fix lasted a couple of months but came back. Tried it again and it did not work. Decided to replace the part and found it on Appliancepartspros.com. When I received the part, I noticed it was the control panel without the circuit board and was confused. Emailed Appliancepartspros and got CSR Brittany. She researched the problem and advised me that it was the correct part. She was also helpful enough to send me a video showing the fix. Armed with this information, I was able to complete the fix in about 15 minutes. Microwave is working perfectly now.
