Samsung DE63-00196A Grease Range Hood Microwave Filter 5-15/16" X 13-3/8" X 3/32" OEM Part

I got it in the mail, I opened it, I handed it to my wife....and she installed it. Easy-Peasy! (Being retired is a blast)

I read from a previous online customer experience that the membrane needed to be replaced. I ordered the membrane and went on YouTube to learn how to remove the membrane. I replaced it and haven't had a problem. The microwave is working just fine.

I ordered the handle assembly, it arrived a few days later and installed in less than 5 minutes. I watched a youtube video first: unplug the microwave, open the door, pry out the plastic liner on the inside of the door, and remove the two screws holding the handle. Then install the new handle with the same 2 screws (*note: orientation matters, one side is shorter than the other and sits flush against the trim on the bottom front of door) popped the liner back in and plugged the microwave back in.

Person on chat was very helpful.Ordered parts around noon I think. had a tracking no by end of day parts in a few days. Much faster than I thought. Today started repair. New part and old part had the same number. There were 3 tabs that had to be removed with saw blade and metal frame had to be modified for new touch pad. if they have a new metal plate id prob order with the touch pad if I ever get error. will save your site if I need other parts if I did not need to modify id had finished in under 15 min had to go out to the shop to make changes that took mabe 15 min
