Fifteen year old Samsung fridge ice maker stopped making ice cubes and appeared to be leaking water directly into the ice bin where it would freeze into a sold sheet of ice at the bottom. Some online research indicated that the problem was likely a cracked plastic ice cube tray. There was a video showing how the repair was done on a similar Samsung model. This compares with about $300 to have a service call and replace the entire ice maker assembly.
