Russell C Phoenix , AZ March 12, 2014 Appliance: Model SMH9187ST "SE" or "5E" error code, microwave inop Pulled control panel assembly, cleaned all connections including ribbon cable and reassembled. Same problem started after about ten minutes. Removed again, disassembled sensor pad assembly, peeled off the old switch membrane, cleaned surface. Installed new membrane and reassembled.
