How to replace Microwave Control Panel Assembly. My Samsung smh9187st was displaying the SE error code. I ordered the assembly control panel. It arrived within 48 hours. Installation was very simple. Removed the vent panel from the top of the microwave (remove two screws and slide to the left about half an inch). One screw held the panel in place after the bottom and side tabs were aligned. Unplugged the wiring connectors, swapped the existing board and the metal backing to the new panel, then plugged the wires back in.
